Artypals
Students at October's 'Painting for the Terrified' workshop

Painting for the terrified!

Artypals offer two painting workshops:
'Painting for the Terrified' beginner's workshop aimed at everyone especially if you have little or no experience of painting.  Students enjoy producing their own works of art over the day.  Acrylics are used for this workshop.
Next workshop: TBA in 2012 10.00am - 3.00pm £40 including all materials, just bring a packed lunch. Contact us now to secure your place.

'Painting for Pleasure' workshops offer a way of improving your skills in a small friendly group.  Beginners are welcome.  Acrylics are used for this workshop, where one or two mini-demonstrations will be shown.  You will be encouraged to build on your techniques and skills, rather than completing a full painting.  Should you wish to bring your own materials or painting to work on we will offer you support over the morning.
Next workshop: TBC for 2012, 10am - 1pm, £25 including all materials.

The photo on this page is of October's day course. No experience is necessary for these workshops which are held at Hempton Memorial Hall, near Fakenham. Both Jackie and Daphne will be there to guide and support you.  We aim the workshops to be friendly and fun so do give us a try.  Use our contact page to let us know if you would be interested in a full or short course. Please wear clothes you don't mind getting paint on.  Refreshments are available. Numbers are limited to ensure small friendly groups.  So why not join Artypals and get painting!

Artypals is coming to Norwich in the new year - contact us now if you would be interested in one of our beginers' workshops.

Evaluation from recent courses - don't take our word for it, here's what the students thought:

Everyone enjoyed the course describing it as 'excellent', 'brilliant', 'wonderful', 'relaxing and friendly', 'no pressure and I produced a painting', 'I liked meeting other budding artists' and that they 'enjoyed the course immensely'.

Everyone found it easy to book and prepare for the course.

Everyone thought the tutors gave enough assistance saying, 'they were very good and could not do enough to help' and that 'they were very helpful', 'excellent assistance and advice' and 'they were helpful without being too teacher-like'

Everyone thought the venue was good describing it as 'light and airy'.

Everyone would recommend the course to a friend and would return for a future course.

So if you are tempted, why not give Artypals a try - you won't regret it and you may enjoy the experience, make new friends and take home a finished painting.
