I started drawing from the age of three and used to spend hours filling sketch books. Life took over and I went many years without lifting a pencil.

Later in life I took up painting and have not looked back. Daphne and I decided to pool resources and enjoy sharing our art together. We share sources of inspiration and have been known to spot the same glorious poppy field at the same time!

My inspiration comes from all over,but I do love to get out and about in the beautiful countryside of North Norfolk.

My recent Norfolk Open Studios was a great opportunity and I was really pleased with the customer comments and that my paintings are now hanging with pride in many homes here in Norfolk and as far afield as Canada.  I am inspired to do more painting!  If you would like to view any paintings, you can visit my studio in Fakenham by appointment.  Please use the contact page and leave your details.

My painting 'Bee on Lavender' has been chosen as a finalist in the 'Simply the best' exhibition at the 'Art Materials Live' show at the NEC this November.  Hope some of you can make the trip and see it - if you like it, don't forget to vote for it!
